Services we offer, but are not limited to

Surgery

We provide a wide range of surgical services including spays/neuters, declaws, dental cleanings, as well as some orthopedic procedures. Our doctors complete continuing education to ensure they are up-to-date on the latest surgical techniques and procedures.

Digital Radiography

Radiography, or X-rays, are an important diagnostic tool which allows us to better evaluate problems your pet may be experiencing. We use this technology to diagnose a range of abnormalities and issues. This type of radiography significantly reduces the amount of radiation your pet is exposed to and allows us to quickly process and examine images, as the x-rays are immediately sent to a computer. We also have access to board certified radiologists through Pet Rays for further consultation.

Emergency & Critical Care

We offer emergency and urgent care in our clinic during regular business hours. If you pet is in need of immediate attention, you may bring them in right away. For after-hours care, please contact our office at 407-846-3912 for instructions.

Fully Stocked Pharmacy

To better serve our clients, we offer a fully stocked pharmacy in our practice. We carry a wide variety of preventive medicine for your pets, including flea, tick, and heartworm treatments. In addition, we have a wide variety of veterinary pharmaceutical medications. We will provide you with the information you need to understand your pet’s prescription so they can start treatment immediately.

Microchipping

We provide Home Again microchips, which can provide you with a way to bring your pet back home in the event they escape or get lost. The microchip is about the size of a grain of rice and is injected under the loose skin between the shoulder blades. If you dog or cat is found, the microchip will be scanned to reveal their ID number, which is paired with your contact information. Pets of any age can be microchipped and the insertion process is safe, easy, and quick.

Pain Management

Many pet owners are concerned with pain management for their pets. At Kissimmee Animal Hospital, we will work with you to help manage your pet’s pain before and after surgery, as well as if they have trauma or chronic disease. We provide safe and effective pain medication and procedures.

Puppy & Kitten Care

We are committed to helping you and your family welcome your new puppy or kitten into your home. We provide comprehensive puppy and kitten care, including wellness visits, routine exams, educational materials, vaccinations, and more. Our team is here to provide you with guidance and resources so you can provide your pets with a happy and healthy life.

Senior Care

As your pet ages, their health can change rapidly, and many of these changes can go unnoticed. Early intervention is important for helping your pet live a healthy life. Diseases common to older pets include: heart disease, kidney disease, endocrine disease, and cancer. We provide a full range of care for senior pets including wellness exams, lab work, and education materials, and we can provide you with medication and supplements to help your pet maintain a good quality of life.

Ultrasounds

We work with an on-call ultrasonographer to perform ultrasounds. Like X-rays, ultrasounds are an important diagnostic tool. This allows us to examine your pet’s organs and look for foreign bodies in the stomach or intestines, tumors/masses, and kidney or bladder stones.

Wellness Exams

We provide annual wellness exams for all patients. These exams help us to monitor your pet’s health as they age. In addition, regular visits to our practice can help us detect conditions in the early stages — before they become a serious issue. A wellness exam is a lot like a physical for your pet; we examine their overall well-being and monitor any changes in their health.

Digital Dental Radiography

To help diagnose and detect dental disease, we use digital dental radiographs. This state-of-the-art technology helps us to ensure your pet’s mouth, teeth, and gums are healthy.

Nutritional Counseling

A balanced diet is important for helping your dog or cat achieve and maintain good overall health and well-being. Our staff provides nutritional counseling and can educate you on various weight-loss options, the best food and feeding regimens for your pets. We will help you design the right dietary plan for your pet!
