Along with her siblings, they brought home anything and everything with 4 legs that needed a home. Thankfully she had very understanding parents. Sylvia began her veterinary career in 1997 as a receptionist, but quickly realized that working as a technician was where she really wanted to be. She is very interested in Emergency Medicine and worked at the Baltimore Emergency Clinic for 5 years.
She truly values the experience she gained in Maryland. Her family moved to Kissimmee in January 2007 to be closer to extended family, and Sylvia began working at Kissimmee Animal Hospital almost immediately. Sylvia met her husband while serving in the U.S. Army, and together they have 4 beautiful children.
